Want to park on double yellows but don't want to get towed?

Clearly frustrated, all the council workers could do was ticket Mr Love - for at least the 75th time this year.

As reported by The Herald earlier this month, Mr Love and the council have effectively been at war for some time. The millionaire parks one of his cars illegally almost every day - and then happily pays the fine. Officials, however, believe his vehicles cause an obstruction and are determined to stop him.

A council spokeswoman yesterday said: "The council is committed to stamping out illegal parking in the city. This individual is not exempt and we will not be deterred from taking appropriate action."

The authority, moreover, has a cunning plan. Parking officials will soon take receipt of two monster trucks of their own, each strong enough to tow any rogue parker, however big.

Clips of murdered teenager on YouTube

Fighterrr8 includes a voiceover saying "happy slap TV", and shows Mr Alizada running up to a boy playing football in the park and hitting him in the head.

In a clip that features the group of youths calling themselves IVS riding on the top of a bus, Mr Alizada - aka Fighterrr - is mentioned by name and makes a gun gesture at the camera with his hand.

Other clips of the IVS gang show them involved in fights with other groups of youths.

The initals IVS apparently stand for Invincible Soldiers.

One of the brawls takes place at a bus stop in which most of the people involved are wearing school uniform and another happens in a park.

Mr Alizada, who came to the area from Afghanistan, was a pupil at Abbey Wood School, Eynsham Drive, Abbey Wood, until July 2006.

Erdoưan's counter offensive against Armenian genocide claims

If there was a genocide, it was you who perpetuated its most violent form, Erdoan said. He argued that genocide is uncharacteristic of Turks. The character of this nation does not let it commit such crimes. We call Armenians to end their unjustified occupation, Erdoan said. The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe oversees negotiations between two South Caucasian states, but the ceasefire is breached occasionally, like the incident in mid-February when an Azerbaijani soldier was killed due to Armenian fire.

Giants take hard road to SB XLII

So in a weird kind of way, it seemed fitting that the Giants gained just 5 yards on three plays and had to call again upon Tynes, who had missed a 36-yarder at the end of regulation. His 47-yard field goal sailed true, and Tynes raced off the field as if he couldn't get to Glendale for Super Bowl XLII fast enough. "I just wanted to get out of the cold," he said. When asked about the final minutes of regulation and overtime, a wry smile crossed Manning's face. "I think we like to make things exciting on this team, and it's another example," Manning said after the Giants 23-20 victory. "We don't like to win the easy way on a short field goal. We like to hit the long one to win it." The Giants took an improbable path to Super Bowl XLII. If the Patriots (18-0) took the interstate, the Giants took a few Forest Service roads.

Navy picks up state recruiting

Georgia (eight), Florida and Ohio (seven apiece) also have produced as many Navy football players as the Mids' home state.

Five consecutive years of success has increased Navy's profile within the state and an increased emphasis on local recruiting has paid dividends. Navy's current recruiting class contains three prospects from Maryland, including a pair of highly touted slot backs.

Ashby Christian of DeMatha Catholic and Jarren Brown of C.H. Flowers both project as ideal slots in Navy's triple-option system since they possess superb speed, quickness and moves.

Christian rushed for more than 3,000 yards and scored 25 touchdowns in two seasons as the starting tailback at DeMatha, the perennial private school powerhouse in Hyattsville, Md. The 5-foot-10, 210-pound Bowie resident ran for 1,564 yards and 13 touchdowns this past season while helping the Stags to another Washington Catholic Athletic Conference championship.

Toying with success: Actor with Beverly roots cast in 'Pirates of the ...

Though Chin has scored minor parts in shows like "Everybody Hates Chris" and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," as well as small roles in upcoming movies like "Bachelor No. 2" and "The Pink Panther 2," the fact he made it onto merchandise confirms his theory about "his look."

For most of his life he was clean-shaven, but when the salesman left Beverly six years ago to pursue an acting career, he grew a goatee and mustache. He believes the image has helped significantly in landing roles, and it was definitely a factor when the toy company Zizzle was deciding which pirates to feature.

"We chose the figures we used in that assortment, and all of our figure assortments, based upon who we knew, or were told by Disney, would have the most significant parts in the movie," said company representative Scott Goldberg, "and for whom we had the best reference to develop accurate likenesses in our figures." That is, the more distinctive or recognizable a character's look, the more likely he was to be immortalized in plastic.
